We have great news about our wrestlers!!! The team took 4th place in the state championship and freshman, Dalton Y., took 1st place, which is unbelievable and has never happened in Lakeside history. Hootie J. and Garrett B. took an incredible 3rd place, and along with a knee injury Andrew K. got 6th. Cole A. and Joe A. got 8th. Timmy, Klint, and Asher all went out on the first day. Senior, Asher C., is a first-time wrestler at Lakeside who has made it to state. All in all, they did an amazing job; congratulations to every single one of them. Dalton, Joe, Hootie, Klint, and Garrett are our first team all conference.
For the basketball all conference, the Ashley C. and Jocelyn C. were awarded first team and Kelsey J. was awarded second team. For the boys, Ryan Q. and Cam G. were awarded first team and Cody W. was awarded second team.
On another note, the daddy-daughter dance turned out awesome! There were different foods and drinks available like punch, cupcakes, donuts, popcorn and cookies! Also, you could decorate your own cupcake, get your face painted, take pictures for good memories and join fun dancing games! :)
They passed out masks to little girls and since the Lakeside band hosted it, they got to play twice during the dance. Do something inspiring this week Lakesiders!
